1. This license
This End User License Agreement (“EULA”) is between you and Mythria Studios, LLC (“we” or “us”). It covers the Mythria launcher and the Mythria game, with any updates, patches, data files and assets that come with them (the “Software”). It’s part of our Terms of Service, which also apply to your use of the Software, including the arbitration agreement and class-action waiver in their section 17.
By installing, copying or using the Software, you agree to this EULA. If you don’t agree, don’t install or use it.
2. What you may do
If you follow this EULA and the Terms, we give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable and revocable license to download, install and use the Software on computers you own or control, only to play Mythria through our official servers for your own non-commercial entertainment.
The Software is licensed, not sold. We and our licensors own it and all rights in it, and we keep all rights we don’t expressly give you.
3. What you may not do
Except as the law expressly allows despite these restrictions, you may not:
- copy, sell, rent, lease, lend, sublicense, distribute or publish the Software or any part of it, other than installing it as described above;
- reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble or decrypt the Software, or try to obtain its source code;
- modify the Software or make works based on it, or make or use cheats, bots, hacks, automation, mods or other unauthorized software that interacts with it;
- get around or disable any security, access-control or update feature, including the launcher’s update and download checks;
- run or connect to unofficial servers or emulators, or intercept, change or redirect the Software’s communication with our servers;
- extract, scrape or reuse the Software’s art, audio, models, text or data, including to train machine-learning models; or
- remove or change any copyright, trademark or other notices.
4. Updates and connections
The Software connects to our servers and our hosting providers’ servers to sign you in, run the online game, download updates and load the game world. The launcher checks for updates each time you choose Play and may need to install one before the game starts. Updates may add, change or remove features. The Privacy Policy explains what information this involves.
5. Third-party components
The Software includes components made by others, some under open-source licenses. Those licenses govern your use of those components, and nothing in this EULA limits your rights under them.
6. Ending this license
This license ends automatically if you break this EULA or the Terms, or when your account or the Services end. When it ends, you must stop using the Software and delete all copies of it. You can end it at any time by uninstalling the Software.
7. No warranty and limits on liability
The Software is provided “as is” and “as available”. The disclaimers and limits on liability in sections 15 and 16 of the Terms of Service apply to it too.
8. Export and government use
You must follow all U.S. export control and sanctions laws that apply to the Software. If you’re a U.S. government end user, the Software is “commercial computer software”, licensed to you only with the rights this EULA gives everyone else.
