Build up to four companions who fill any role a player would, from tank to healer, and they’re ready whenever you are. Then make your class your own: two of nine talent trees become one of 45 final forms.
Most online RPGs hand you a class, a queue and a city that never changes. Mythria gives you something to build, someone to lead and somewhere worth defending.

01 · Your company
Your party is ready when you are.
Instead of waiting for strangers to fill the roles you need.
Hire up to four companions from the swords for hire on the roads and in the towns. Choose their talents and gear, give them orders in a fight, and give them a home where they work while you are away. Friends and companions share one five-member party.
One of 36 hybrids. Every pair of classes has its own.
02 · Your class
Become a class no one handed you.
Instead of one class chosen on the first screen and kept forever.
Start in one of nine talent trees, then go deeper or open a second. At level 30 your points decide your final form: one of nine masters or 36 hybrids, each with a signature ability of its own. Pure or hybrid, every build is tuned to keep pace.
Instead of hub cities that stay the same whatever happens.
Every town runs on its people’s support: fountain offerings, trade and treasury gifts. Keep the towns thriving and the whole realm earns more coin and experience. Neglect one for a week and the undead take it, Dreadlord and all. Adventurers can break the siege, or the nearest city’s army marches in two or three days later, and landholders who stayed away pay a war levy.
A house on a real street, priced by the town’s fortunes.
Instead of housing tucked away from the world you play in.
Buy a house in the towns and cities from a Steward. It costs more where the town is thriving and less where it struggles. Own up to five, each with room for you and four companions, who live there without wages and bring home what their work earns.

The world
Take the long way home.
From the capital of New Estalon to the castle city of Arcenor, follow the roads through forests, mountain passes and wild places. Maps start in fog and fill in as you walk them, your skills reveal ore, herbs and beasts, and coaches link nine towns, if the bandits let you pass.

Mythria is an independent online fantasy RPG for Windows PC and Mac, built around a shared world, custom class combinations, exploration, gathering, crafting, and adventuring together. It is currently in closed alpha.
What makes Mythria different from other MMOs?
Three things above all. Your class is built rather than picked: two of nine talent trees become one of 45 final forms at level 30. Your party is ready when you are: hire up to four companions and choose their talents, gear and orders. And the world answers back: towns prosper on players’ support, fall to the undead when neglected, and are won back by adventurers or a city’s army. Homes stand in those same towns, priced by how each one is doing.
How do I get into the closed alpha?
Email signup will open on the Mythria homepage. Once it does, join the list for a chance to receive an invitation with access instructions and the game download for Windows or Mac.
Can I play in my browser or on Steam?
Mythria runs in its own app for Windows and Mac, distributed directly through our site. The Downloads page explains current availability and installation. Invited testers receive access instructions and the game download directly from us. The current alpha is not played in the browser or distributed through Steam.
Does Mythria have a release date?
No full release date has been announced. Mythria is in closed alpha, and availability will expand as development and testing allow.
