Mythria’s custom class system lets you invest in up to two of nine talent paths. Start with one path, spend your first 15 talent points there, then choose between deeper specialization and a second path.
Choose a starting path, then explore its master form or combine it with a second path.

02 Choose your direction
Or combine with another class
At level 30, spend all 30 talent points. Invest at least 10 in your second tree for a hybrid form; otherwise, take your main tree’s master form. Resetting your talents lets you choose again.
You earn a talent point at each character level. Your first 15 points establish your first path; from the next point onward, you can keep investing there or open one second path. The current character level cap is 30.
Abilities unlock according to points spent in their own tree, not just total character level. A 30-point specialist and a character with 15 points in each of two trees make different choices: depth in one toolkit versus access to two. The descriptions below explain each path’s intended identity; individual abilities and balance are evolving during alpha.
Tank and melee damage
The shield wall. A Vanguard stands in front, takes the blows meant for others and hits back hard. Rage builds as they deal and take damage.
Healer and magic damage
The abbey's healer. Clerics mend wounds, burn away curses and poisons, and smite the wicked with holy light.
Ranged magic and control
A scholar of the old arts. Acolytes hurl fire, frost and lightning from afar, pin enemies in place and slip away in a flash.
Ranged weapons and field utility
Hunter and tracker of the wilds. Rangers strike from long range with the bow, lay traps and keep the party alive in the field. Bow shots need a bow.
Melee burst and disruption
A blade in the dark. Shades strike from stealth, poison their prey, blind and confuse, and vanish before anyone can hit back.
Armored tank and support
Knights of the abbey's Order. Templars wade in wearing heavy armor, shield their friends with faith and burn the enemy with holy light. Conviction builds as they fight.
Shapeshifter: tank, melee or healer
A druid who learns the shapes of living animals. Lay a hand on a beast, take its spirit into you, and from then on you can become it. Each animal you learn brings its own moves.
Tank and melee damage, no shield
A warrior who fights without a shield, with two weapons or one great one. Every blow given and taken feeds their fury, and fury keeps them standing. Fury builds faster the lower their health.
Melee or caster, support and damage
Keeper of the abbey graveyard, who steals the life of the wicked and gives it to the living. Leech life into essence, then spend it on your own power or on healing your allies.
For a frontline character, start by comparing Vanguard, Templar, and Berserker. If keeping allies alive appeals to you, look at Cleric and the support tools in other paths. For ranged combat, compare Acolyte’s magic with Ranger’s weapons and field utility.
Shade focuses on stealth and disruption. Wildheart explores animal forms. Grave Warden ties damage and support to life and essence. These are starting identities, not a ranking of the strongest builds. Try the role that interests you and use alpha feedback to help shape it.
Mythria’s flexibility comes from combining two structured talent paths. A second path takes points that could have unlocked later abilities in the first, so mixing paths is a meaningful choice.
