Looking for your next fantasy world?

If you are looking for an MMORPG like Fable, Skyrim, World of Warcraft, or Project Ascension, Mythria may be worth following. It is an independent online fantasy RPG for Windows PC in closed alpha, with exploration, party adventures, gathering, crafting, and two-path character builds.

For Fable fans: the pull of a fantasy world

If Fable appeals to you for its storybook atmosphere, settlements, and roads into the unknown, start with Mythria’s world. New Estalon, the Wolfswood, and Valeor Falls introduce the tone through world artwork.

The connection is an interest in inhabiting a fantasy place. Mythria’s shared online world is its own project; explore its player housing and settlements and companion parties. Fable’s morality and relationship systems are not being promised.

For Skyrim fans: take the road you have not tried

If your favorite part of Skyrim is getting distracted by an unexplored place, Mythria’s emphasis on wilderness, travel, and gathering may speak to you. Here, that curiosity belongs to a shared online world where you can bring other players along.

Start with the exploration and gameplay guide, or see how companions fit into an adventure. Mythria is a separate game, not Skyrim multiplayer or an Elder Scrolls mod. Do not assume Skyrim’s first-person combat, quest scale, or mod support.

For WoW fans: a role in the party, room in your build

If World of Warcraft drew you in through fantasy class identities, tanking, healing, dealing damage, and adventuring with others, explore Mythria’s nine talent paths. Vanguard, Cleric, Acolyte, and the other paths offer different starting identities, with a second path available after your first 15 talent points.

Mythria is at a much earlier stage. It does not promise WoW’s content library, raid progression, competitive systems, or population. It is a new world to help test, rather than a finished replacement for an established MMO.

For Ascension fans: experiment with your character

If Project Ascension interests you because building a character is part of the game, take a look at Mythria’s talent progression. You can specialize in one path or combine two, balancing later abilities in your first tree against the toolkit of a second.

Mythria limits a build to two of its nine paths. That is a different rule set from Ascension’s classless ability selection, and it takes place in Mythria’s own world. Mythria is not a WoW private server or an Ascension realm.

Is Mythria a good fit for you right now?

Follow Mythria if you enjoy exploring fantasy settings, discussing character builds, gathering and crafting, or discovering an online game with friends while it is still being made. Those interests matter more than which game you are coming from.

Read the closed-alpha guide if you want access: invitations are limited, systems are unfinished, and progress may reset. There is no announced full release date, final business model, or supported player count.

These are comparisons of player interests, not feature equivalence or endorsements. Mythria is independent and is not affiliated with Fable, The Elder Scrolls, World of Warcraft, or Project Ascension. Game names belong to their respective owners.
